How would you describe your style?
I would describe the style of Quiet Glimpse Photography as a hybrid of documentary and commercial. I enjoy capturing images that describe the day - the moments that make your story specific to you. Did you spend three months trying on one wedding dress after the other until you found the one that took your breadth away? Did you spend countless hours the week before your wedding decorating your own cake? Were you given heirlooms to wear during the ceremony that added so much joy to your walk down the aisle? These are all small details that are substantial to your personal story as a couple. These are the things that you will want to be reminded of years from now when you review the day the two of you officially became one. For the most part, I try to blend in with my surroundings and capture moments as they unfold but I do offer guidance during portraits and other times to ensure we capture the best images possible. My background in art makes me a fan of composition and mood so I do make it a point to create timeless, posed images throughout the day as well.
Are you insured?
Yes, I am insured for liability and can easily provide proof if your venue asks for it.
What do you charge for a wedding?
My collections begin at 1900 for small weddings and elopements and go up depending on hours of coverage and what is included. I would love to speak with you about what you value in photography. I find it very important that we get a chance to discuss exactly what you’re looking for so you feel assured your big day will go as expected. Do you take weddings outside of New hampshire?
I have photographed weddings all over New England and would be happy to travel beyond this area to be a part of your special day! If your wedding takes place more than sixty miles from where I live there will be a fee of 65 cents per mile which is the IRS standard for travel. If you are having a destination wedding in a different part of the country please email me the details and I can provide multiple quotes.
Are you available for LGBTQIA+ weddings?
Absolutely! Love is love and it comes in many different combinations. 🏳️🌈
Do you offer engagement sessions?
Yes! Whether you’re looking for some beautiful portraits for your invitations or you want to get a taste for being in front of the camera before your big day, engagement sessions are a great choice. Spend some time with me and we’ll capture the magic of your relationship! I offer three different sessions so you’re sure to find one that matches what you’re looking for.
Do You offer wedding Albums?
Yes I do and they are awesome! Albums are a terrific way to preserve the most cherished images from your wedding and share those memories with future generations. Most of my collections include a museum grade album and I also offer upgrades and add-ons for customization. All are made of exceptional quality and intended to stand the test of time. How does the booking process work?
It all starts with filling out the contact form so that I can see exactly what you’re looking for. After receiving the form, I can check to see if I have the date available at which point I will reach out to schedule a call or meeting. It’s best if we schedule a chat when both you and your partner are available so everyone can be on the same page. As weddings typically involve lots of moving parts you can feel free to ask me any questions you have referring to how Quiet Glimpse Photography will capture your special day. To book your date you will need to pay a non-refundable retainer fee of 1,000 and sign a contract. The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to the event. All transactions can be done electronically if desired.
will we meet before the wedding?
I believe it is incredibly important to meet before the wedding or even before booking the date. This gives you a chance to ask me whatever questions you still have and it gives me a chance to introduce myself on a more personal level. Some people have an inclination to feel nervous in front of the camera so I love having the opportunity, early on, to show my friendly personality and casual demeanor. Once you know you’re in good hands you will feel more comfortable and the special moments will present themselves without hesitation. How will I receive my images?
Images will be delivered through a private online gallery approximately 10 - 12 weeks after the wedding date. This gallery is password protected and will be accessible for ninety days. The fully edited, high-resolution images will be available to the couple for download and will include a print release. There will also be a variety of high quality printing options available directly through the gallery.
How many images will I receive?
While I am not able to say exactly how many images the final gallery will include I can say that a full eight hour wedding day will generally produce around 350 - 400 final images. I am more concerned with capturing images that genuinely tell the story that is unique to the couple rather than increasing the number of images with lots of repeats. I have always been a believer of quality over quantity and make it my goal to deliver solid, meaningful work to my couples.
Can I send you a sampling of images I like?
Of course you can! I would never dismiss the idea of learning more about the type of images that catch your eye. That being said, all photographers are different and go about things in different ways. While I am not comfortable with recreating poses or specific images from other photographers I am happy to use the images you share as inspiration for mood or emotion. I consider myself an artist and need to create on my own terms to produce the best results.
Will you get down during the reception?
If the party is happening I will be a part of it! I am very focused when it comes to capturing the moments from your day - this is my main objective. I also want everyone to feel comfortable around me so I tend to fit in with the guests whenever possible and have been known to join them on the dance floor from time to time.
Can I post my images to social media?
I would be thrilled to see you post your images on social media! I would love it if you mentioned Quiet Glimpse Photography when posting so that credit is given. Also, please do not sell or alter the images in any way.
