Celine and Matt at the York Golf and Tennis Club

I originally met Celine and Matt for their engagement session. We visited Marginal Way in Ogunquit, Maine as this area was full of life and was a favorite hangout for both of them. I love engagement sessions for a number of reasons, one of which is that it gives me the chance to learn a bit more about my couple. Anytime I get an opportunity to go more in depth I take it and their session gave us the chance to really get to know each other. This helped make things run that much smoother once their wedding day arrived as we had already built up a level of trust and understanding.

Celine and Matt celebrated their special day at the York Golf and Tennis Club in York, Maine. It was a beautiful day with just a hint of wind to keep things pleasant and feeling of nature. While I have photographed weddings at various country club settings I had never been to this venue before. The ceremony was set up on an expanse of green overlooking a lake with the occasional boat passing by. There was a great sense of love and family here as people from both sides became emotional as the ceremony came to fruition.

Following, the reception grew loud with laughter as the happy couple mingled with their guests. The night ended with dinner and dancing as everyone shared their favorite moments from the day. A true honor to be a witness to such an occasion.
